As musicians we are all suffering from cabin fever and can't wait to get playing again. While the government are trying to figure out what to do with us in venues, outside gigs seem to be ok. I'm hoping to lure the crew to my house to play live to entertain friends and hopefully not annoy my lovely neighbours. We will also be showing it online.
As well as getting us out of the house I will be passing around a hat for charity contributions both here and online. It is to help someone very precious to me, a wonderful musician who suffered a great medical event 18 months ago and is benefitting from music therapy, a wonderful system that is helping him very much. We would love to help you to spend all of the money that you have saved going to live performances and all of the accompanying real ale and gin...or is that just me?
I'll let you know when, stay safe my friends until we meet again xxxxx
I hope that you are all well. So sad to say that all live performances have been suspended due to the Covid 19 situation until further notice.
We were booked to play up at the Langtoun Jazz Festival in June and by the power of the internet the festival went ahead from the comfort of our own homes! If you go to the video page you'll see our performance.
Hope to see you all soon, take care,
